I have every intention of completing this comic, although it may seem like I treat it as a joke or an afterthought at times. I know I've been a little absent with updating in the past couple months. I've been really busy and also took on various collaboration projects, got a full time job, and started to work more on my main comic. Even though all has been happening, I have found time again to work on this project little by little. I can't promise daily updates yet, but I do have the next 10 pages or so all drawn out and they just need text. So thanks for sticking around guys, and maybe one day we'll get a little farther in the game!
It's not how it sounds I swear!
My band is going on tour soon (starting the 26th of July). We are starting in northern California, heading through Oregon and Washington, then swinging down through Idaho, Utah, and Nevada. Well at least most likely those last three, depending on how it all goes. It'll take about three weeks, and I won't have access to a computer, so I've had some decisions to make based on the update schedules. I'd like to upload the rest of chapter 4 of the Psychodessey, and complete the first chapter of Pokémon Ged Version before I go. So there won't be any updates while I'm gone, but maybe a mass of updates will ease the pain of my absence. While I'm away I plan to start writing the script of the second book of the psychodessey, and upon returning, finish the remaining chapters of the first book. That's the plan at least, and it's happening whether ya'll like it or not.
If anyone lives in the states I mentioned, and either A: like bluegrass music or B:wants to hang out with their imaginary internet friend irl, send me a message or email and I can give you some more info as to where my band will be traveling.
I'm starting to run out of Buffer for this chapter, which initially wasn't a problem, except that the other day when I went to go scan stuff, the scanner wasn't there. Apparently my mom threw it away because she was mad at it. That's what she told me anyway. So from now on I'll have to scan at my buddy Xealx's house. We are going to hang out next Saturday, however I also have been feeling much more motivated to work on my other comic, the Psychodyssey (the one that Ged is originally from). This is probably due to the poor weather we've had here, but whatever the reason, I tend to only work on the comic I'm in the mood for, and the Pyschodyssey was in desperate need of some work, so I'm definitely going to ride out this wave. That doesn't mean I won't be working on Ged Version though. It just means there could possibly be some delays depending on when I draw the rest of the chapter and when I have access to a scanner. Hence the title of this news post, "Possible Delays."
I have not finished the nuzlocke run. I write and play as I go along. This can be a slow process. In between chapters there will be "intermissions" while this process continues. There is really no telling how long intermissions will go for as this project isn't a huge priority in my list of projects, but I'll try not to let you guys down.
I figured I'd have to do this at some point, but I forgot to do it earlier. If you are reading this, I love you. Cause that means you are reading my comic or my news posts. This little nuzlocke comic I'm making is for fun. The artwork is bad, and I am aware of that. I also don't care; if you don't like it it is your own fault for reading it. Feedback is not welcome or appreciated, unless it is constructive criticism. To help you understand the difference an example of constructive criticism: "Your comic is lacking visual appeal. Imagine the page is divided into 9 equal squares. The images that catch the eye most are found on the corners of the square directly in the middle of the picture. So instead of centering the image that is supposed to stand out, try moving it to one of the corners." Example of bad feedback: "it needs more color" If you give me bad feedback I will post a link to this as a reply, because maybe you didn't know. But I have poor self discipline, so this too is a disclaimer. If you give me bad feedback, that's ok, but I might make fun of you. Publicly. I can't help it sometimes, Consider yourself warned.
