That is all the main rules I'll be following. I did decide to add a few quasi-clauses, but I didn't want to look any up, so I made up my own. They will be explained in this chapter (mainly) as they come up.

Also, some rules that should be added:

1. Dupe clause. You can keep looking for PKMN in an area until you find a new one.
2. You CAN use Name Rater.
3. In-game trades allowed. You can also buy PKMN from the Game Corner.
4. If you're playing FireRed, Shiny Clause. Because Shinies.

Do you play on a real GB or in an emulator?

@TheJGamer: I have an original game boy but I don't use it because I'm afraid something might happen to it. I don't like the dupe clause because I personally feel like it defeats the purpose of the nuzlocke if only slightly. I think an in game trades allowed clause is unnecessary because it is allowed in the first place, but more on that later. I occasionally play my red cartridge on gba, but I usually play on my Super Nintendo using a super game boy converter cartridge.
